Rotherham Youth Enterprise aims to empower young people to reach their full potential within a culture of enterprise and self-employment, enabling achievement and success. The project is aimed at young adults, between the ages of 16 and 30 in the Rotherham area, providing support and advice and encouraging them to explore business ideas and develop the skills and knowledge necessary to become self employed.
If you are under 30 years of age and looking to start up in business, then you may be eligible to join the Rotherham Youth Enterprise programme. We willl help you to develop your business idea and where available provide access to office/workshop facilites at one of our four Business Centres. The units at these centres are provided at subsidised rates in the first year to help the business get up and running. (Units are subject to availability).

The John Cracknell Youth Enterprise project is based at the BeSPoKe Centre in Bransholme. It offers free advice and support to under-25s who are interested in starting-up a business.
Although the project is focussed on the Bransholme area it is not exclusive and is working with partners in other priority areas of the City such as Orchard Park and Greenwood, University, Marfleet, Southcoates East and Newington and St Andrew Wards as well targeting disadvantaged groups across the City that are under represented in the City's business community. They are achieving their objectives through the provision of mentoring and advice, not only to enable business start-up but also to test the viability of ideas.
We particularly welcome young people who are currently on JSA and Income Support and those that are on disability benefits.
